As a web designer and web developer based in St Albans, we have the opportunity to meet and work with some amazing people and companies across Hertfordshire.
One of our clients recently approached me with an opportunity to utilise our web design skills whilst also helping to raise money for a wonderful cause. Naturally we jumped at the opportunity to become one of the lead sponsors for the charitable organisation Mitis Covey, which was established to raise money for a range of good causes.
In addition, we are supporting their latest event, the Welwyn 2 Wales cycle ride to raise money for The British Heart Foundation and The Grand Appeal – Cots for Tots.
About Mitis Covey
The charitable organisation was established by five close friends as a not-for-profit organisation to help raise money for causes that were close to their hearts.
The founding members came together to take on the Ride 100 challenge in 2019 and over the course of the year they raised nearly £10,000! As time has passed, the team have seen the number of charities being helped by their incredible dedication grow.
Web design and development with web hosting
Following our discussions about how we could be help, it was decided that we would provide a new web design, website development, web hosting as well as on-going support for their online presence. As part of the website development, we ensured they had a content management system in place, so they could update the website news section with all the latest updates on their events.
Active web pages
As part of the website development, we have designed the website to have active web links that enables easy navigation to the charity’s Just Giving page and direct links to their social media pages. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for visitors to engage and donate from the website.
We are delighted to be involved with such a great cause and we would encourage every business, big or small, to become involved in charitable work to help promote good morals and ethics within the business community.
